No — this class is educational, not advisory. You’ll learn how to think about investing and how to set up your account, but you’ll need to either do your own research (this class will help you gain some knowledge in how to do that) or speak to a qualified financial advisor for specific investment or pension recommendations.
I’m not in the UK, is this still relevant?
Yes! The principles apply globally. I mention UK platforms and some international options, including US-based ones and international platforms for expats (which was how I started in investing).
We don’t have experience with US platforms ourselves. Always do your own background checks before deciding on an investment platform and check platform suitability for your location.
I have a tight budget. Is this class right for me?
